pickle me elmo

whenever i get a sandwich from the sandwich station in the cafeteria, i always see the sandwich maker (same one every day) give the person in front of me two pickles instead of one. i think, "oh, it must be because it's late in the lunch shift, and she wants to use them up." yet, she always gives me only one pickle. why is this? is it because i repeatedly ask her for sourdough bread even though she hasn't had sourdough bread since 2005? is it because she was putting the mustard away today, but i asked her for mustard, and she had to remove the saran wrap from the top of the mustard container to put mustard on my sandwich? whatever the reason, i don't like the smell of it. it's a conspiracy!
