not to toot my own horn or anything

but i was hangin' with my super fashiony friend, g., the other night, and he said verbatim, "what do you think about this skinny jean trend that you started?," and i said, "holla!" okay, i didn't really say that, but i like to imagine i did. anyway, it's kind of true, not really. i've been wearing the skinny jeans for close to five years now, though i've really got to give skinny jean props to the punk or ska kids that have been wearing the black skinny jeans from trash and vaudeville 4eva. anyhoo, at one time it was impossible to find the skinny blue jeans, and i remember a particularly harrowing moment many moons ago when i went looking for skinny jeans at saks fifth avenue. the woman gave me a big lecture how those types of jeans were not the style but that boot cut were the hot look. well, i think i'm going to go there today and ask for some boot cuts to see what she says the hot trend is. what a female dog! oh, and don't even get me started on leggings...
