i have a public apology to make

to andie macdowell. a few months ago, i proclaimed that she pretty much might be the worst actress ever (in terms of big budget films because we know there are a lot of bad actors out there blah blah blah). anyway, i have changed my mind and have decided that scarlett johansson is THE worst big budget actress out there. omg! darkpony and i watched that movie matchpoint the other night, and we just laughed at her in every scene she was in. sooooo bad! should she play bored or bored? oh wait, she can't play anything but bored. bored was perfect for her character in ghost world, but that's it. i've decided that she ruined lost in translation. that movie should have been much better than it was. also, here's a fashion plea from me to scarlett: please stop wearing those freakin' nude colored evening gowns. they look like crap on your pasty body. yuck! p.s. i really liked you in the horse whisperer.

seriously, what is worse than a tourist trying to hail a cab in nyc?

that would be a tourist trying to hail one of those double-decker sightseeing buses. yikes! let me just say that it included the whistle and all.

dear mayor bloomberg,

you're all like, conserve energy because it's a scorcher out there blah dee dee blah, and i'm doing my part blah dee dee blah blah. anyway, i was watching sam champion on the channel 7 news the other night, and he was talking about how office buildings were doing their part to dim their lights, even the empire state building. well, i immediately ran to my bedroom window which happens to look out on a certain bloomberg building at 59th street and lexington avenue and noticed that said building was still quite illluminated that turquoise color at the top. wtf, mike? if you don't set an example, then of course every crap store in this town is going to waste energy by keeping their doors open, so one can feel just how many btus their a.c. is crankin'. sheesh!

peace out,
hazeldove
