darkpony and i have been working rather diligently the past two nights to get the website/webshop revamped for our little publishing company, 4N publishing. it's a "soft launch" as we say in the world wide web biz and still needs to be tweaked here and there. check it out here. it kind of looks like cake. maybe. anyway, darkpony and i will also be selling 4N's books at the small press book fair this weekend at the new york center for independent publishing, formerly the small press center. that's the invite up above. we would love to see you there, or if not, you are square. zing zong!

i had a dream...

last night i dreamt that rebecca gayheart owned a bookstore, a used books bookstore. makes sense, right? totally.

my hands look dead in this light...

tonight i was over at my friends' apartment for thanksgiving leftovers, and after a few glasses of wine and a holiday cocktail, i start staring at my hands. they are blue. really blue. i mention my blue hands to the group, and j., my very reasonable friend, comes over to me and demands that someone turn on the overhead light, thinking i'm having a heart attack or something. well, it turns out that the dye from my new, dark-blue uniqlo jeans have stained my hands. ha ha. we got a real laugh out of that one. ha ha. then, i went into the bathroom and yelled out, "ha ha! the water is turning blue! it is dye! ha ha!" what a hoot! am i right?

name change

so, i shortened the name of my blog to striped shirts since i'm so over skinny pants. i mean i still sport them, occasionally, but...so does everyone else. blah. i bet my stats will significantly decrease because my blog will not come up each time someone googles, "shirts to wear with skinny pants." oh well. keep up those sam champion google inquiries because those are keeping me afloat. boo yah!
